Laylie was absolutely amazing! As expected I was dreading the thought of self catheterisation but as soon as Laylie arrived I was put at ease. She is very funny and approachable and an absolutely brilliant nurse.

I was quite apprehensive about this appointment but Laylie immediately put me at ease. She was able to explain everything using simple language and even added some humour to the process. I was worried that she might need to be 'hands on' but I was able to try myself and know she was just in the next room if I needed her. I enjoyed her visit...which I wasn't expecting. She left me with her number to contact her at any time.

I was able to work with Laylie in the community whilst she was seeing her clients in the community. It was such an informative day which contributed to my skill sets as a urology nurse. Teaching was invaluable and clients were so accommodating to me!

Laylie has been absolutely fantastic, she talked me through everything I was worried about and made everything absolutely clear and reduced the fear of self catheterisation by talking and showing me how to do it. Laylie was also at the end of the phone if I needed her which was very comforting and reduced my stress levels and helped me relax, couldn’t of wished for a better nurse, top marks.

Possibly like most people I was filled with some trepidation about the visit of a nurse who was going to talk about and start me on self catheterisation. As soon as Leylie arrived I was put completely at ease, with her smiling and friendly approach. Her explanation of all the various aspects was delivered in a way that showed her considerable knowledge, expertise and understanding. Her sense of humour, often a lost trait in caring, was always appropriate and as a result it made this process so much easier. Should anyone reading this prior to going through the same thing be concerned, they must be reassured that you are in the hands of an extremely professional nurse and it should hold no fear. Thanks so much Leylie
